Overview of beer making
The process of beer making involves cooking of the necessary ingredients. It is through the variety of ingredients that you get each unique flavor of beer.
To make a beer, you need four (4) main ingredients to include water, malt, hops and yeast. There is no problem sourcing out these ingredients since these are readily available in the market for home brewing and other purposes.
Water used should be filtered in order to get the best taste. The malt ingredient comes from malted barley. It has been processed to allow for the sugars and starched needed to trigger the beer fermentation. Hops are actually flower cones which act as beer flavoring agent. Hops also make possible the desired sweetness and bitterness of the beer. Yeast is the main ingredient that causes causes all the ingredients to transform into beer. It is the main catalyst in the process of fermentation.

Process
To make beer at home you need to get a kit. Kits for this purpose are readily available and not very expensive. You can use the kit over and over in making beer at home.
Once you have your kit and ingredients you can begin making beer. The process begins with mixing the malt and water and boiling them for about 20 minutes. The hops should be steeped for 30 minutes and then mixed with the malt and water mixture. It is important to keep stirring the mix to avoid burning. The mixture is then allowed to cool.
The fermented product should be prepared by filling half way with water. Meanwhile the yeast needs to be prepared by mixing it with lukewarm water. It should be properly wrapped and let sit. This will allow the yeast to start rehydrating.
Use a glass carboy for mixing the ingredients hops, malt and water. Fill the fermenter in full with cold water and allow to reach 75 degrees. At this time the yeast should be added.
The brew can then sit and be allowed to ferment so that it turns into beer. This brief process is what is needed to produce a home made beer.
